More About This Podcast Episode:
In this inaugural episode of our Mr. Robot podcast, my producing partner Nate Bliss and I mostly discuss what hooked us about the first season of Mr. Robot, without giving away spoilers, of course.
We talk about how we would describe the show to friends who have never seen it, with an eye on getting them to check it out and hopefully become fans. We also discuss how the show’s name could possibly be a barrier for some potential viewers, a problem shared by great shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Cougar Town. We also tease our next episode, which will be a deep dive analysis and review of the series premiere of Mr. Robot.
And we mention that most future episodes of this podcast will feature a new guest (a journalist, critic, blogger, podcaster or fan) and I having a deep conversation about a specific episode of Mr. Robot. I want this podcast to act as a companion piece for viewers who are currently watching Mr. Robot for the first time as well as a fun and informative review for those who’ve seen all the episodes. I hope you dig it.
